Snapshots from my Career

Picture

South Africa 2008. Filming Web Videos and DVDs for Rajasthan Royals IPL Team

Some Rajasthan Royals cricketers pose for a team photo.

Can you spot the odd man out?

Australia 1999. Filming 'Stunt School' (Discovery and Channel 5)

My audition as Robin's stunt double didn't go so well...

India 2001. 'Filming O'Shea's Dangerous Reptiles' (Channel 4 and Animal Planet)

Chameleons get anxious when held by humans, so I stroked it to make it a calmer calmer calmer chameleon.

Okay – weak joke, but can you think of a better one?!

Philippines 1999. Filming 'Defender of the Children' (ITV)

Photo taken when I was posing as an undercover paedophile in the Philippines to expose sex tourists for a hard hitting ITV documentary. The hidden camera was in the badge of a waistcoat and the microphone was disguised as a pen in my pocket.

This wasn’t the hidden camera

South Africa 2008. Filming 'Game Rangers South Africa' (National Geographic)

This photo was taken moments before the boat’s motor ran out of fuel in a hippo and croc infested lagoon.

The interviewee is explaining how a hippo can bite a man in half.

A king cobra bite injects enough venom to kill a small elephant in twenty minutes.

I reckon I’d last about five seconds.

Krakatoa 2002. Filming 'O'Shea's Dangerous Reptiles' (Channel 4 & Animal Planet)

The Full Monty – Krakatoa style.

The locals actually paid us to put our clothes back on.

Best cure for arachnophobia – put a great big spider on your face and say cheese

Philippines 1999. Filming 'Defender of the Children' (ITV)

My audition for 'Philippines’ Got Talent' ended in tears.

The presenters asked me my occupation. I couldn't say "Undercover Journalist". I had to say "Paedophile".

They weren't impressed.

Some researchers say monitor lizards like to eat small worms – I reckon they prefer large snakes!
